D'Inked is a documentary about how traditional ink and needle tattoos can now be literally erased with the use of state of the art lasers. How this emerging technology has been embraced by the tattoo community as an opportunity rather than a threat and how the experience can be both liberating and gruesome. 

The film follows a man on his 5-year journey through the process of removing a full color half sleeve tattoo. The film also features interviews with prominent figures in the tattoo and laser removal communities discussing the technological, physical and ethical realities of removing what has always been considered a definition of permanent.
